The Purpose of Voices for Restorative Schools

The purpose of Voices for Restorative Schools is to educate Marylanders about the challenges of school culture in Maryland and how those challenges can be met through restorative practices. In turn, Voices will build and support grassroots capacity to educate legislators and appointed officials and urge them to support funding and policy that will result in all Maryland schools being Restorative Schools.

  • What is the goal of restorative schools?

    The goal of resestorative schools is to educate Marylanders about the challenges of school culture in Maryland and how those challenges can be met through restorative practices. Voices will build and support grassroots capacity to educate legislators and appointed officials and urge them to support funding and policy that will result in all Maryland schools being restorative schools.

  • How can you be involved

    The core advocacy strategy is Circles of Ten. You can be a Circle Leader. You can be a Circle member. A Leader would spend no more than two hours per month on the effort. The Circle member would spend no more than one and one-half hours per month.
